How do i lighten my human hair extensions?

My good quality human hair extensions are now too dark for my hair, because my dyed hair recently faded. I don't want to buy new hair extensions because of this, or have a salon dye them for me, because that is too much money. My hair extensions are black, and I have dark brown hair.
