Can I Dye Processed Human Hair Extensions?

So I bought a few clip-in hair extensions (not a full set)


%26amp; bought them in blonde, %26amp; this bright pink colour. I want to dye them black %26amp; figure its okay because their real human hair..but when i went back to the salon where i bought them..the lady said I cant dye them because they've already been processed so much.


What would happen if i did dye them anyway?


I mean, its just straight black, not like im trying to bleach them or anything.Can I Dye Processed Human Hair Extensions?

Just like with real human hair , over processing can damage the hair making it brittle and dry.





If you were to use a non permenant color, like a rinse..then the hair should be ok. But using a permanent color will jus dry out the hair making it dull and brittle.
