where do human hair extensions come from? Please be honest and don't post some joke. I heard they come from dead people but i don't know for sure. Are they clean?

They come from real people. Indian hair extentions come from village women in India. The women in the villages collect their own hair and then after a certain period of time, they give their hair to the company or whatever and then the company puts it together and cleans and disinfects it and stuff. They also come from people who donate their hair or just cut their hair. Some women with long hair sell their hair wen they get their hair cut.
it comes from people who choose to donate their hair if they are getting a large amount cut off. it's kind of like locks of love but locks of love is a foundation that uses the hair to make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer.

People cut a certain length of hair and give it to either the stylist who cut their hair, or htey send it themsleves, and they become extensions :x
in european and asian countries, women don't have enough money so they sell their hair to different countries for money.
It is mostly from poorer countries and the people are very alive. All the hair goes through an intense chemicle cleaning process so you don't ever have to worry about it being ';dirty';
