Hey guys (: I recently bought some 14 inch 100% real human hair extensions. And i don't know much about them, but i wanted to know if you could straighten them? Like, my straightener is ceramic so i imagine it would be okay, right?
I will give out a best answer. Can you straighten real human hair extensions?
Yess indeed. Lol* i wear nothing but extensions [human of course] i love it because you can do just about anything to it.! curl it;; crimp it;; straighten it;; anything. but like if u use hair products in it, make u sure you wash and dry your hair before you put more hair stuff in them, they'll last longer that way. %26amp;%26amp;make sure its the good human hair, and not ';yaky'; thats sumthin dif. and it wont curl very well. Can you straighten real human hair extensions?
If it's real human hair, I would think that would be okay. I have friends who have had human hair extensions and have straightened their hair with the normal results, so go for it! :)
P.S It might be worthwhile just to try straightening the very tip of it, just to check, or asking a salon specialist, but as I said, if it's human hair, I don't see a problem.
Yes you can straighten them, curl them etc. but eventually they will start going thin. becuase you have to keep brushing them becuase they get knotty and striaghtening is not good for it really.
but if you do straighten it, put heat protection spray on them and do it. Also when you take them out opf your hair put them down straight so they are still straight for the next time you want to wear them.
if yours do go thin, Go to additionallengths.com which have human har exstenions and are cheap and very good quality. i straighten mine and brush them and theyre still qite thick of still having them about 6 months :)
hope i helped :)
yep, you can.
just take good care of them (use heat protecant and dont do it too often)
you should be able to curl them to, but some hair types wont
my friend had a belnd of asian/african hair and she couldnt curl it :S

Yeah. Its fine. You can treat it exactly how you treat your own hair. On fake, though. It would melt them. So just make sure they are real.
If they are real hair then yes.
Yes
Yes use heat protection so they don't Frye
